The National Pollution Control Day is celebrated on the 2nd of December in India, to honor thousands of human beings who had lost their lives to the Bhopal Gas Calamity. It is also celebrated to create awareness among the people and industries about paying great attention towards the need of adhering to the Pollution Control Acts.
