Honda's new 125 cc bike spotted testing in India

Honda motorcycle and scooters, India’s second largest two-wheeler company had earlier announced its plan to launch 15 new models this year. While some of its products have already been launched, some are still on their way and others have been caught on camera before their launch. Despite a decline in sales of motorcycle, Honda is still focused on the commuter segment. The company's current line-up already has 10 bikes and 5 scooters in Indian Market including the commuter bikes.

Recently a 125cc motorcycle from Honda was spotted in India which is expected to be launched this year. While the front section of this new 125cc bike looks similar to the Honda Unicorn 160, it comes with freshly designed tail section and side panels. The overall design hints that this could be the new look for the Honda Shine. The bike’s plain and neat design does make it a suitable choice for those who look for daily commuting.

Like all 125cc bikes of Honda this new 125cc bike will also have an air cooled 4stroke SI engine. Other specs are still sketchy, but the bike does offers a star shaped alloy wheels with 10 spokes and will have an option for disc brakes. The Shine was the most successful commuter from Honda’s Indian line-up and judging by looks of it, Honda will surely expects to see the same success from this upcoming motorcycle as well.
