Mahindra has recently made an impressive move and has acquired two of the most iconic brands of their time namely BSA and Jawa. The step by the company is seen as a move to take on the likes of Royal Enfield. The interesting part is that with the acquisition, Jawa will be coming back to India and its motorcycles will be seen cruising on Indian roads once again in a matter of two years from now.  Also Read - Wait, What? Mahindra has gained the possession of BSA including all its global rights. With Mahindra taking the hold of two brands, the target of BSA will be countries like Italy, France, Germany, USA and the United Kingdom. The upcoming Jawa motorcycles will be manufactured at Pithampur plant in India. Both BSA and Jawa will be retailed through their individual dealership network. Also, the bikes will come without the Mahindra badging, hence retaining their individuality and identity. The two brands will not only come as products but will also represent an entire lifestyle. This eventually means that we can expect more than just motorcycles from BSA in India. Having said that, like almost every premium motorcycle brand is doing nowadays, BSA is most likely to introduce its range of apparel and accessories.
