Launched earlier this month, TVS Apache RR 310 is the most expensive bike from TVS Motors‘ portfolio till date. Priced at INR 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom), this flagship motorcycle currently attracts 5 percent discount as a part of a referral scheme reports Rushlane. On contacting the company, we learnt that TVS Motor is not offering such kind of discount on its flagship model. Moreover, the Hosur based bike manufacturer also has started delivering the first lot of Apache RR310 to its customers. However, the company is dispatching the matte-black colour variant as of now whereas the deliveries for the red coloured variant will be begin from early next year. Talking more about the motorcycle, the flagship model borrows BMW G 310 R’s engine which is a liquid cooled, fuel injection, twin overhead camshafts and 4 valves, 312.2 cc unit that makes 34 PS @ 9700 rpm of max power with peak torque of 27.3 Nm @ 7700 rpm. The unit is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The motorcycle is pitted against the likes of Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Benelli 302R in the entry level sportsbike space. TVS Apache RR 310 is capable of touching 0 to 60 kmph in just 2.93 seconds before attaining the top speed of 160 kmph. As far as the dimensions of the bike is concerned, it comes with a length of 2001 mm, width of 786 mm, height of 1135 mm along with wheelbase of 1365 mm and ground clearance of 180 mm. Additional highlights of the new Apache RR 310 are full fairing, fully digital instrument cluster, a trellis frame, tubeless tyres, clip-on handlebars, disc brakes at both ends, ABS as standard and much more.
