As reported by us earlier, Bajaj Auto has confirmed that it will launch the 2017 Pulsar series by December. The two models namely Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F have already been spotted in recent times. A couple of days back, Bajaj teased the new Pulsar family in an image which hints that the official launch is just a few days away. According to the source of the spy shots, the new Bajaj Pulsar 150 has not been upgraded to the BS-IV compliant engine. Contrary to this, the two other new models Bajaj Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F will reportedly come with BS-IV compliant engines to meet the strict emission norms. Coming to the prominent changes, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 continues to come with orange backlit instrument console while the 2017 Pulsar 180 and Pulsar 220F get a blue backlit unit. The prime change that you will notice on seeing the new Pulsar 150 is the addition of new graphics and decals to make it look more appealing. Another change is that the engine in the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 has been drenched in the matte grey shade in contrary to the silver one seen in the existing Pulsar 150. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 also gets a more comfortable seat to ease up the task for the rider. The new model will also feature tubeless tyres to offer convenience in case of a puncture. Once launched, the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 150 is expected to be priced somewhere over INR 73,513 (ex-showroom, Delhi) at which the present generation Pulsar 150 is being retailed. The new Pulsar will challenge the likes of TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Extreme Sports and Honda CB Unicorn 150 in the Indian two-wheeler market.
