Fiat India may have recently updated the Linea by bringing back the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engined model but in many markets overseas, Fiat has already launched the comprehensively updated model in the form of the 2013 Linea facelift.
Now that the Linea facelift is on sale globally and doing well, it’s the turn of the Indian market to welcome it. The company is already testing the new model, as can be seen from these spy shots of the test mule caught in Pune.

The 2013 Linea facelift is heavily updated both inside out. The front fascia now boasts of a new grille and is laden with lots of chrome. The new bumper looks busier than the current model with the chrome garnish, the new lines and the aerodynamic winglets. At the back, there’s a new rear bumper and revised taillights.

Under the hood, the car is expected to come with a new 1.6-litre Multijet diesel engine. The 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol motor found in the current model will continue to be offered with the 2013 Linea facelift. Be sure to check back for more details and updates on the upcoming Linea facelift.
