Skoda India is getting ready to unveil the all-new 2013 Octavia early next month (9th August, to be precise), and while the carmaker is busy releasing a few teasers on its official Facebook page, Rushlane has managed to snag another test mule of the car.
Skoda India will unveil the 2013 Octavia on August 9, 2013 and with that, the carmaker will also bring back the ‘Octavia’ nameplate.
The 2013 model is not only bigger, but also lighter than the outgoing car i.e. the Laura. Engine options should include two petrol and one diesel unit; a pair of 1.4-litre and 1.8-litre TSI petrol engines and a 2-litre TDI diesel is likely to power the upcoming model.
The new Octavia will take on the crowded D-segment which currently includes the Toyota Corolla Altis, Chevrolet Cruze, Hyundai Elantra, VW Jetta and Renault Fluence.
