While Skoda has already offered a first look of the 2013 Octavia vRS, there is still some time away before the car hits the limelight. Skoda, in fact, will officially unveil the hot version of the latest-gen Octavia at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.

Before the officially unveiling, new spy images of the 2013 Octavia vRS have surfaced, showing the car with barely any camouflage. Going by these spy images, the latest-gen Octavia vRS, like its erstwhile cousin, seems discreet in its appearance.

Underneath, the 2013 Octavia vRS rides on the same MQB platform that underpins the standard Octavia. The car is expected to come with a new 2-litre TFSI engine with around 220PS of power, making it the most powerful Octavia vRS ever. Skoda will officially unveil the 2013 Octavia vRS for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, following it with a launch later in the year.
