The first teaser image of the hot version of the 2013 Skoda Octavia is officially out. Skoda has teased the upcoming Octavia vRS, ahead of its world premiere at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
Scheduled to make its debut on July 11, the Octavia vRs (now in its 3rd generation) rides on the same MQB platform that underpins the standard Octavia. Under the hood, the vRS will come with a 2-litre TFSI engine which also powers the latest Volkswagen Golf GTI. The engine is said to produce around 220PS of power and 350Nm of torque.
The Octavia vRS will be officially shown for the first time at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, followed by a launch later in the year.
