General Motors has now introduced a new burnt coconut colour option for the 2016 Chevrolet Cruze sedan in the country. The new colour option is introduced for Holi celebration taking the total colour option for Cruze to seven. The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze sedan continues to be priced at INR 13.95 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The new Chevrolet Cruze is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged VCDi engine that is capable of producing 163bhp of power and 360Nm of torque. Transmission duties are carried out by a six-speed manual and 6-speed automatic unit. The new Cruze comes equipped with GM's MyLink infotainment system with new 7-inch touchscreen and it supports applications like internet radio, grace note and SIRI eyes free, Bluetooth audio and telephony with voice recognition system. In fact, the multifunctional steering wheel comes with controls for infotainment, Bluetooth telephony and rear view camera.
Talking about safety, the sedan has four airbags, high impact collision, Anti-Lock Braking System with Electronic BrakeForce Distribution and electronic sensors. Compared to previous model, the new Cruze gets new LED daytime running lamps, new fog lamps and chrome treatment for horizontal slats grille.
