After providing a mid-life facelift to the Grand i10, Hyundai Motor India is all set to provide its compact sedan, the Xcent it its share of a makeover. The 2017 Hyundai Xcent will be launched in the Indian car market on the 20th of April 2017. Just like its hatchback derivative, the sedan too will get minor revisions on its exterior profile alongside a few feature updates done to the cabin as well.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift is to come with a revised front facia which is to get a new restyled bumper, adorning new LED DRLs. The side profile will remain identical while there will be a massive overhaul towards the back.

Stepping inside the cabin, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent is to get the exact same design layout as does the current gen model. It is to feature a dual-tone cabin colour theme. In terms of feature updates, the compact sedan is now to get a new touchscreen multi-information display, which is to come with gizmos like apple car play and android auto connectivity.

The engine specifications of the 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift will continue to come with the same petrol engine. This unit is to be the 1.2-litre VTVT motor churning out 82Bhp along with 113Nm of peak torque. The transmission responsibilities will be taken care of by a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, there will also be a 4-speed auto on offer.

The diesel derivative will be a new 1.2-litre CRDi unit, churning out 73Bhp along with 190Nm of peak torque. The gearbox will be the same 5-speed manual.

Talking about the prices, the 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift is likely to fall in the price bracket of INR 5.5 lakh to 8.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
