As far as pricing is concerned, the new Hyundai Elite i20 is priced between INR 5.35 lakh to INR 9.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Verdict
Both the cars are on par with each other in terms with features and performance. While the Maruti Baleno is the most feature rich among the two and offers decent performance, the Hyundai Elite i20 comes with unique features and a powerful diesel engine. The Elite i20 also gets premium quality interiors and a well laid cabin. The Maruti Baleno, on the other hand, is affordable and far more fuel efficient as compared to the Elite i20 and also gets a CVT automatic transmission on the petrol variant. There is no direct winner here. If you want a comparatively affordable and more fuel efficient car, then you should go for the Baleno. If you are looking out for a powerful diesel motor, robust build quality and premium interiors, then you should opt for the new Hyundai Elite i20.
