Mercedes-Benz, a popular German luxury car maker has been working regressly on its product portfolio for quite sometime now in the domestic market. Following on the same lines, the German auto manufacturer aims to pace up the race by expanding its AMG offering in the county. The car maker has launched the updated versions of CLA 45 AMG and GLA 45 AMG which are priced at INR 75.20 lakh and INR 77.85 lakh (All Price Ex-showroom India). The company has also launched the ‘Aero Edition’ of its younger AMG models – CLA 45 & GLA 45 which are priced at INR 77.69 lakh & INR 80.76 lakh (All Price Ex-showroom India). The newly launched CLA 45 AMG & GLA 45 AMG are the sixth and seventh models to be rolled out in the domestic market from the house of Mercedes-AMG. As the fact that these models are entry-level performance models from the Mercedes’s stable, they get attractive price tags making them most affordable performance cars currently available in the country.

On the exterior front, both the models feature a new black-themed paint scheme which is complemented by yellow coloured decals highlighting the overall appeal of the cars. The 2018 AMG GLA 45 also sports a rear spoiler with a yellow highlight enhancing the sporty appeal of the car. Additional highlights are projector headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED tail lights, 19-inch alloy wheels, quad exhausts, rear diffusers and much more. Inside the cabin, the overall appeal of the cabin is accentuated by all-black layout which comes in combination with red accents proffering a premium look on the inside. In terms of gizmos, the cars come equipped with a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring a 360-degree camera along with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink compatibility.

Under the hood, both the cars are equipped with the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged engine which can produce maximum power of 375 bhp with peak torque of 475 Nm. Transmission duties are carried out by 4Matic all-wheel drive system on both the cars.
