570PS Porsche Panamera Turbo S unveiled

The Panamera Turbo S will make its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. 

Porsche has taken the covers off the new 2014 Panamera, ahead of its public debut at the Tokyo Motor Show later this month. Powered by a monstrous twin turbocharged 4.8-litre V8 engine putting out 570PS of power and 750Nm of torque, the new Panamera is one of the most powerful four-door sedans ever made.

Thanks to new turbochargers and larger compressors, power is up by 50PS to 570PS. Torque, on the other hand, has increased by 50 Nm to 750 Nm between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm, with the overboost increasing to 800 Nm.  

Channeling all that power onto the road is the brilliant Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel drive system and a 7-speed PDK gearbox. The new Panamera is a seriously quick luxury sedan, accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds and onwards to a top speed of well over 300kmph.
