Always wanted Mulsanne levels of luxury but needed a commanding view of the road ahead? Bentley is set to make your dream a reality now that the company has made it official that it will make its very own SUV to tap into the super luxury SUV market.
Bentley’s controversial concept, the EXP 9F which made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show didn’t really receive much in the way of accolades. However, the production model is expected to feature a far more traditional SUV design. The SUV will be the fourth model in Bentley’s lineup after the Continental GT, the Flying Spur and the Mulsanne.
The SUV is likely to be powered by a 6-litre, W12 petrol engine pumping out around 600PS of power and over 800Nm of torque. A little more sensible (if once can call it that) alternative could be offered with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 500PS and 650Nm of torque.
The buzz surrounding this luxury SUV is hard to miss. We can’t wait to see the finished product!
