Compared to the previous model, the new BMW X5 M and the X6 M comes with a new front bumper with large air intakes, revised front fenders, new & painted wheel arch flares, an aggressive rear bumper with quad exhausts with chrome finish and others. Buyers will have an option to choose between 20-inch wheels or optional 21-inch rims. Both models feature air suspension with a self-levelling rear axle and electronically adjustable dampers in three modes- comfort, sport and sport plus. The M-car duo also gets active roll bar stabilisation and an electronic stability control system as standard.
Under the bonnet of the X5 M and the X6 M is a 4.4-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that churns out 567bhp of maximum power and 750Nm of torque. This engine is paired to an 8-speed M Steptronic gearbox which sends the power to an M-specific all-wheel-drive system. The M specific models accelerate to 100kmph from zero in just 4.2 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
