Mr Rajiv Vij (MD), Carz on Rent said, “The demand for luxurious personal mobility solutions is rapidly on the rise. We partner with various International and Domestic Airlines, Ho-tels and Financial Services companies to service their High Flying guests. Today almost  25% /Rs.40 crore annually of our car rental revenues come from this segment; the demand is growing at a much faster pace as compared to other segments. The brand value of Mer-cedes-Benz is unparalleled; as such it was our natural choice. The C -Class vehicles that we have in our fleet currently have proved to be extremely reliable even after clocking mi-leages in the range of 180,000 kms. The low maintenance and excellent service support that we've had from Mercedes-Benz made our choice obvious. The legendary reliability, design and operating efficiencies of the C-Class made it the ob-vious choice. With this transaction, we are the only organization in India to have such a large fleet of luxury cars. We have always believed in setting new benchmarks in the Indian Car Rental industry and this is only a reaffirmation of our long term strategy. “

Mr Peter Honegg, MD & CEO – Mercedes-Benz India/Mr. Debashis Mitra, Director Sales & Marketing, Mercedes-Benz India commented: “Indians today lead global life-styles and their mobility preferences reflect this status. A fleet of Mercedes-Benz cars of-fers a very clear edge to brands that wish to benchmark themselves for their customer oriented services; it is a trend that was pioneered by the hospitality industry but today this approach is utilized by a large number of high-end organizations across different segments. Carzonrent’s association with Mercedes-Benz India is a testimony to this growing trend. We see this trend growing in the future and already have in place a team dedicated towards serving the needs of corporate customers.”
