Delhi government will hike registration duty on diesel cars by 25 per cent staring October. This move will increase prices of entry level diesel cars by minimum of Rs 6,000 and that of the premium cars in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000. The diesel cars currently attracting four per cent registration fee would now have to pay five per cent, similarly registration fee in bracket of seven per cent is increased to 8.75 per cent.
