Electric Nissan e-NV200 (Evalia) concept revealed

Nissan has taken the wraps off a new electric version of its NV200 van, ahead of its debut at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Called the e-NV200, this new model will arrive in the Japanese market sometime next year. Nissan has also revealed that production of the e-NV200 will begin at its plant in Barcelona, Spain in mid-2014.

Following the world’s best-selling EV – the Leaf, the e-NV200 will be Nissan’s second all-electric model available globally. Like the Leaf, the e-NV200 too features a more rounded fascia with blue-tint infested headlamps.

Nissan hasn’t revealed any power-train details or the interior shots. Full details on this electric version of the popular van will be out during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show.
