UPDATE: 2013 Maruti Suzuki Wagon R facelift has been officially revealed
It seems Maruti Suzuki has given us an early glimpse of the upcoming facelifted version of the WagonR in its new commercial video. The company recently released a new one-minute long commercial called ‘Festival called life’ showing how celebrating festivals are an integral part of the lives of Indians.
While it all looks colorful and alive, it’s at about the 40-second mark of the video, something interesting makes an appearance. Look closely and you will notice what appears to be the facelifted version of the WagonR which is expected to come out in early 2013.
As it can be seen, the facelifted model doesn’t look substantially different from the one currently sold. The car largely remains unchanged except for redesigned front-end that now gets a restyled grille, all-new bumper and fog lamp housing.
Like the exterior design, we do not expect many changes in terms of interior design or layout although Maruti Suzuki could make a few minor additions to the feature-list to make the faclifted WagonR a better buy for the money.
