Faster, more exciting Ferrari 458 Scuderia could debut at Frankfurt Motor Show

The 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine will be tuned to produce roughly 600bhp.   

As if the regular Ferrari 458 Italia was not thrilling enough to satisfy the cash-rich petrolheads, the Maranello based supercar maker is said to be developing a faster, more exciting version which is likely to be called the 458 Scuderia.  

Like the 430 Scuderia, the upcoming 458 Scuderia will be more of a track-bred racer for the road, with its lightened body shell and a more powerful engine. The naturally aspirated 4.5-litre V8 engine, in fact, could benefit from 40-odd additional horses, with claimed output of roughly 600bhp. The 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, too, will be further tuned to improve overall performance.

Currently in development, the 458 Scuderia is expected to make its debut in September during the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show.
