Fastest ever Skoda Octavia RS 245 revealed ahead of Geneva Motor Show 2017 debut

The all-new Skoda Octavia RS 245 is the fastest ever Octavia, which produces 242 BHP of maximum power.

Czech carmaker Skoda Auto recently unveiled the all-new 2017 Skoda Octavia in the global markets, which was followed by the 2017 Octavia RS 230. The company has now announced the Skoda Octavia RS 245 ahead of its global unveil at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. The Octavia RS 245 is the fastest Octavia sedan ever built. The car packs in 242 BHP of maximum power while the car can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. The new Octavia RS 245 will be made available in both sedan and station wagon body styles. The new Skoda Octavia RS 245 is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder TFSI petrol engine that is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 242 BHP and developing 370 Nm of peak torque. When compared to the Octavia RS 230, the RS 245 produces 15 PS more power while developing 20 Nm of extra peak torque. The fastest Octavia ever, the RS 245 gets a top speed of 250 kmph while it reaches the ton within an astonishing 6.6 seconds. With all this performance on tap, the Octavia RS 245 is on par with the Volkswagen Golf GTI Performance. Coming to the design of the car, the new Skoda Octavia RS 245 gets sportier exteriors and interiors to match the performance of the car. These include new alloy wheels, sporty rear spoiler and red strip across the rear bumper. On the interiors front, the car gets sporty interiors along with race bucket seats. The Skoda Octavia RS 245 gets new technological and safety features. New additions include a new 9.2-inch infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the car also gets GPS assisted satellite navigation.
