Fiat Cars has launched its much awaited compact SUV – Avventura in the Indian Market, priced INR 5.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).. This sub-4 meter vehicle is available in both petrol and diesel engines. The price of the petrol variants start from INR 5.99 lakh to INR 7.05 (ex-showroom Delhi)., on the other hand the diesel variants are priced between INR 6.89 lakh and INR 8.17 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Avventura is now competing with other compact hatchbacks like Volkswagen Cross Polo, Toyota Etios Cross and Ford EcoSport in the same segment. Fiat Avventura:

Fiat Avventura looks more of a crossover version of the standard Punto but with 200 mm of higher ground clearance and with 16- inch of bigger and fatter wheels this car looks bold and aggressive look. Avventura’s rugged exterior and premium interior makes it appropriate for the Indian driving conditions.

Talking about the engine, Avventura claimed to be the most fuel efficient car in its segment and available in both petrol and diesel versions. The diesel version of Avventura is available with 1.3-litre MultiJet 4-cylinder engine which can give the mileage of about 20.5 Kmpl, while the petrol version is fitted with 1.4-litre,4 cylinder petrol engine which might give the mileage of 14.4 kmpl. 

On the exterior front, the Fiat Avventura is equipped with projector headlights, roof rails, an exposed spare wheel and body cladding, while the Interior changes come in the form of roll and tilt gauges and contrast stitching.

Ford EcoSport

The Ford EcoSport is compact urban SUV of 4 meters in length which has everything that one can ask for in a compact SUV. The Ford EcoSport is available in both petrol and diesel version. The petrol engine of EcoSport is equipped with 1.5 litre engine which can produce the max power of 110PS and torque of 140Nm, the petrol EcoSport also gets an automatic transmission option, while the 1.0-litre Ecoboost engine with the variable geometry turbocharger can produce the power of 123 horses coupled with 170Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine can produce the power of 90PS and 204Nm of torque. All variants of EcoSports come with 5-speed gearbox. 

Talking about the features, the EcoSport has many attractive features like, EBD, Break Assist, six airbags, Tilt and telescopically adjustable steering, keyless entry, leather upholstery.
