Ford Figo Aspire interiors revealed; shows a hint of EcoSport and Fiesta

Ford India has recently revealed the interiors along with a dozen new images of it most anticipated compact sedan - Figo Aspire. Seeing the latest images, we can say for sure that Ford has left no stone unturned to provide its customers with best-in-the-class features.  The new interiors look sleek and upmarket, and give us a reminiscence of Ford Ecosport and the Fiesta.

Slated for a June release, the all-new Figo Aspire has been build based on Ford new design philosophy and comes with a lot of seen and unseen features. Even though the car comes in the guise of a compact sedan, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say that the interiors are at par with most of the premium sedans in its segment.

Starting with the dashboard the 2015 Figo Aspire will come with a dual tone treatment that gels well with its sculpted design. The steering wheel and centre console looks a little bit like the EcoSport, and comes with a number of function buttons that make it as commendable as some of the leading premium cars. The centre console screen is a little bit larger than what you find in the Ecosport or Fiesta and also comes with Ford's popular high-set SYNC multimedia system. An integrated audio system will also be available in the top end trim.

The cabin will be designed with beige finishes while the centre console and door handles, which houses the power window switches is done in black. The lower part of the centre console features the controls for the automatic climate control system, or the manual AC knobs in case of the base variant. The sculpted door panels have been designed for absolute convenience and come with some large pockets and holders for bottles and coffee cups. The shifter in the automatic variant looks subtle and comes with a gearlever press shots.

Some of the other features include voice commands, SMS readout, emergency assistant, phonebook among others. The range topping Figo Aspire will get side airbags but there are no rear AC vents even though there is a rear-seat centre arm rest. As for its safety features the Aspire comes equipped with six airbags (driver & co-passenger, side and curtain airbags), hill launch assist, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), ESP, and more. The compact sedan will rival against the likes of Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze, Tata Zest and Maruti Swift Dzire.
