The all-new Batmobile was officially unveiled at the 2015 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, along with some minor details. The new military grade fully- armoured Batmobile is beyond doubt the most menacing machine ever driven by a Superhero. And with the Cape Crusader behind the wheels it will unarguably be a feast for our eyes in the upcoming movie.
The new Batmobile looks a little bit shorter and longer than the Tumbler Batmobile, which we saw in Christian Bale’s Batman Trilogy. To point out this vehicle has the true Batmobile persona that was missing in the former. There are twin .50 caliber retractable machine gun turrets, mounted on the front of a fully armoured machine. Other details that were revealed about the new Batmobile say that now it will come with stealth mode, active protection systems and anti-ballistics as well as full armour plating.
The engine details were not revealed but it is quite likely that the car will be equipped with the same 400 bhp (405.6 PS) Chevy V8 that powered the Tumbler Batmobile. This menacing machine will be 20ft long, 12ft wide, weighs a whopping 3,175kg and will apparently top out at 330 kmph. Here's a behind the scene footage of the all-new Batmobile.
Judging by the trailer and the name itself it’s no surprise that Batman will be going up against Superman in the next movie. While the fact remains that such a machine alone will hardly make any difference against the Man of Steel, but if we know anything about Batman he is capable of doing a hell lot of damage with it.
