Korean auto giant Hyundai has released the first teaser image of the facelifted Elantra sedan. The updated model, arriving three years after the launch of the current (fifth) generation Elantra, will feature a few design revisions to make it more appealing to the masses.
The teaser image shows a glimpse of the headlamp, fog lamp, tail lamp, trip computer and the wheel. That means the facelifted Elantra will feature LED-rich headlamps, redesigned alloy wheels and an updated interior with more equipment.
The report suggests that Hyundai could also introduce a new diesel engine with the facelfited model. It remains to be seen if this updated model will get the same 1.6-litre diesel engine from the Verna sold here in India.
