Hyundai India sales grow 6 percent to 52,734 Units in February 2017

The Hyundai Creta, Elite i20 and the Grand i10 has help the company to register a sales growth of 6 percent in February 2017 as compared to the same period last year.

Korean carmaker, Hyundai Motor Company has today revealed the sales data for the month of February 2017. The company has registered a sales growth of 6 percent in February 2017 over the same period last year. Hyundai India registered an overall sales of 52,734 units in February. While domestic sales stood at 42,327 units, exports were pegged at 10,407 for the month of February 2017. Cars like the Grand i10, Elite i20 and the Hyundai Creta have been key to Hyundai’s success in India. Hyundai India has also been the largest exporter of passenger vehicles in India. Speaking about the sales performance of Hyundai Motor India in February 2017, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President – Sales & Marketing, HMIL,said Hyundai with an all-time highest ever sales of 9,002 units of The Perfect SUV CRETA had a domestic all models volume of 42,327 with a growth of 4% with increased customer visits and conversions on the strength of improved customer confidence generated by the Union Budget positively impacting the customer disposable income and overall business sentiments. Domestic sales of Hyundai grew by 4 percent at 42,327 units as against the 40,716 units sold in February 2016. On the other hand, exports grew by 15.5 percent in February 2017, which stood at 10,407 units, as compared to 9,013 units sold in February 2016, the company revealed.
