At the ongoing 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, Hyundai has unveiled the new ix35 SUV. So far speculated to be a China specific model, we could not so soon rule out the possibility that the same could also arrive in the Indian car market. The new ix35 SUV, is to sit in-between the Creta and the Tucson, is the second generation model of the SUV and now comes with a much more mature and aggressive styling than its predecessor.

The Hyundai ix35 SUV comes with the signature Hyundai design language and looks to be a bulkier version of the Creta. Up-front, one is to find the large hexagonal grille, sharp sweptback headlamps, augmented bumper and a open-heart use of chrome, providing the SUV with an elegant appeal.

From the side profile, the ix35 looks hunched-up and quite muscular. Adding a bit of a character is the thick C-pillar, roof-rails and black plastic cladding. The rear has been kept simple yet their is a obvious similarity between it and the Creta and Tucson.

Not much has been reveled about the specifics of the cabin of the Hyundai ix35. However, it would be safe to assume that this SUV, sitting above the Creta is to come with a premium quality interiors along with a host of creature comforts and features on board.
