We informed you earlier that the Hyundai Tucson will be launching in India during the later part of this year. Well now we have confirmation from an official source that the Korean automaker will bring this SUV either by the end of October or by the start of November 2016. This new generation of the Hyundai Tucson is a huge step-up from the outgoing model. The exterior profile draws its inspiration from Hyundai sculpture 2.0 design philosophy, which means that we get sharp exterior contours, resembling to the ones we see on the Hyundai Santa Fe. On the inside we expect the SUV to come loaded with creature comforts up to the brim. Talking about the equipments, this SUV will come equipped with features like 8.0-inch touchscreen system incorporating satellite navigation, 4.2-inch driver information screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats which are eight-way electrically adjustable and a smart powered tailgate. Talking about the safety, the Tucson will come equipped with features like a tyre pressure monitoring system, blind spot assist system, electronic parking brake, static cornering lights, autonomous emergency braking, drive mode selector and lane departure warning system with lane keep assist are all thrown into this vehicle.  Also Read - 3 Benefits of Taking Power Nap at Work

Under the hood, the Tucson will get a 2.0-litre diesel engine for the Indian market. The engine will be available in two states of tune. On will be a 134bhp while the other will pump out 181bhp. Transmissiin responsibilities will be handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox while an automatic gearbox is on the cards as well. Expect the prices to fall under the bracket of INR 18lakh (ex-showroom) and INR 25lakh (ex-showroom).
