Hyundai Motors India finally launched the 2017 Hyundai Verna in India, priced between INR 7.99 lakh to INR 12.61 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The prices are introductory and limited for first 20,000 customers, and will be increased post this. Prospective customers can officially book the car at Hyundai dealerships across the country at an amount of INR 25,000. The new Verna 2017 come equipped with the most powerful petrol and diesel engines and gets first in segment features like ventilated front seats. Feature-wise, the new Hyundai Verna will come equipped with a 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, engine start/stop button, 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto support, automatic climate control, sunroof, a large touch-screen AVN system, cruise control, parking sensors and much more. The new Hyundai Verna 2017 comes equipped with one petrol and one diesel engine options. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.6-litre VTVT engine producing 121 BHP of maximum power and 158 Nm of peak torque. The oil burner is powered by a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel motor producing 126 BHP of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Honda City 2017 is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.5-litre iVTEC four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 118 BHP of maximum power along with 145 Nm of peak torque. The diesel iteration is powered by a 1.5-litre iDTEC four-cylinder diesel engine that is capable of producing 99 BHP of maximum power while developing 200 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox along with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
