Jaguar has finalised its cars for the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed. Making their first appearance in the UK will be the Jaguar XFR-S, XJR and XKR-S GT. Also, a new design study, based on the F-Type will be unveiled at the FOS. Jaguar's Chief Engineer Mike Cross behind the wheel will take the car around the Goodwood Hill.
The XKR-S GT will piloted by Sir Chris Hoy on day 1 (Supercar run) and by the producer of the video game Gran Turismo, Kazunori Yamauchi on the following day. Other cars at the FOS will include the XJ13, the D-type, XK120 and an XJR-9 with racing driver Andy Wallace driving it for one more time. He's the one who, along with Johnny Dumfries and Jan Lammers drove this car to victory at the 1988 LeMans.
Jaguar will have its current cars on display too along with a Jaguar-inspired art installation, created by Royal College of Arts students. So if you're planing to visit the Goodwood Festival of Speed, be prepared to go weak in the knees after witnessing the beautiful members of the feline family.
