The Jeep Compass is based on the small-wide 4×4 architecture platform. This is the same platform that underpins the yet to be launched Jeep Renegade compact SUV. The overall design of the Compass is reminiscent of the bigger Jeep models, like the Grand Cherokee. Upfront, the SUV gets the unmistakable Jeep DNA with the 7-slot chrome garnished front grille flanked by projector headlights on either side, while the LED daytime running lights are neatly integrated inside the headlamps. Moving to the sides, the SUV gets trapezoidal wheel arches and black plastic cladding along the sides while the rear gets split LED taillights that are inspired from the Iron Man movie series.
