Lamborghini Cabrera to be unveiled in 2014

More information expected by Christmas, says report.

Like most of you, we too are eagerly waiting for the Lamborghini Cabrera. Successor to the Gallardo, the Cabrera has humongous shoes to fill, and we are hopeful that it will.

Now that Lamborghini has stopped making the Gallardo, it cannot afford to make us all wait for the Cabrera. The exclusive report by InAutoNews too claims that the Italian carmaker wil not make us wait for too long! Lamborghini, when contacted by the website, said that the car will be unveiled in 2014 and the first press release to us journalists will be sent before Christmas.

That's all the conversation says but apart from that, expect the car to be powered by a 5.2-litre V10 (making more power than Gallardo here) and four wheel drive (with rear wheel drive models expected later, much like the Gallardo). It's unlikely to carry a manual transmission but it's a bit too soon to say that. Lamborghini released the first official teaser for the Cabrera a couple of days back.
