Mahindra Bolero becomes India's highest selling SUV again

Mahindra's flagship SUV sold over 1,00,000 units in the FY 2011-12.

Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd have announced that it's flagship SUV, Mahindra Bolero has crossed a new milestone by recording the highest-ever annual sales since it’s inception in 2000. The SUV recorded total sales of 1,00,686 units in the financial year 2011-12, which is a growth of 21 per cent as compared to the year ago period. Mahindra Bolero had clocked total sales of 83,112 units in the financial year 2010-11.

 

With the record feat, Mahindra Bolero has also bagged the title of the highest selling SUV in India for the 6th consecutive year. Furthermore, the Bolero has clinched the 7th position among the top-selling passenger vehicles in India in the financial year 2011-12, moving up from the 9th position in the financial year 2010-11.

Over the years, Bolero has evolved with the changing lifestyle aspirations of customers resulting in an exceptional CAGR of 26%.
