Mahindra Bolero manages over 6.5 lakh sales: It's a hit!

The Bolero has been around for over 13 years in the Indian market.

Mahindra has been selling the current Bolero in pretty much the same shape since 2000. Fast-forward 13 years into the future and Mahindra has sold over 6.5 lakh units of the popular UV till date.   

Having sold 1.06 lakh units in FY-2012 and 1.17 lakh units in FY-2013, the rugged old Bolero continues to dominate the Indian roads even today. According to Mahindra, it’s the only Indian SUV to sell over 1 lakh units, for 2 years in a row

Commenting on this milestone, Pravin Shah, Chief Executive – Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “Having sold over 6.5 lakh units since inception and ruling the roads for 13 years, the Bolero has transformed the SUV space in the country. Over the years, the Bolero has been updated and evolved with the changing lifestyle and aspirations of its customers resulting in its growing popularity.
