India’s largest utility vehicle maker, Mahindra & Mahindra has added a new model to its pick-up range of vehicles. Called as the Bolero Maxi Truck Plus, this new addition comes with a payload capacity of 1,150kg and competes against the Tata Xenon pick-up that was launched during September last year.
Powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, the Bolero Maxi Truck Plus promises class leading combination of performance and economy. Producing around 65PS of power and 190Nm of torque, the same engine also powers the standard Bolero UV. Mahindra claims a healthy fuel economy figure of 17.7 kmpl, making the Bolero Maxi Truck Plus the most economical pick-up on sale today.

In terms of improvements over the standard Bolero Maxi Truck, this new model’s turning reduced has been reduced to 5.5m for better maneuverability. Also, the engine is said to have been tweaked to offer improved refinement than before.
Available in two colors- Diamond White and Bold Beige, the Bolero Maxi Truck Plus range costs between Rs 4.33 lakh (Ex-showroom, Thane) and Rs 4.43 lakh (Ex-showroom, Mumbai) for BS3 and BS4 versions respectively.
