At the launch of new XUV500, Mahindra & Mahindra, the homegrown utility vehicle maker, has announced that it will launch three all-new cars in the Indian car market this year. Adding to it, the company will also introduce six facelifts of existing cars in the country in 2015. We believe that the homegrown UV maker will launch the S101 micro SUV, U301 Bolero and the new Quanto in the Indian car marker. Mahindra to Launch Three New Cars This Year: Official

New Mahindra U301 Bolero- Mahindra is working on an all-new SUV, which is likely to come as a replacement for the Bolero. Codenamed the U301, this SUV will go on sale in the country by this festive season. The next-gen SUV will come in different body sizes including a sub-4 metre and a seven-seat. The sub-4 metre version of this SUV will be powered by the Quanto's 1.5-litre twin-turbo diesel engine producing 100bhp. It will be based on a hydroformed ladder frame chassis, which makes it lighter than the current model.

Mahindra S101- Seeing the growing demand for the compact SUV segment, Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to launch a micro SUV in the country. Codenamed the S101, the sub-4 metre car is expected to be priced at about INR 4 – 4.5 lakh. It will rival against the likes of Ford EcoSport and upcoming compact SUVs from Tata Motors and Nissan. This SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is likely to get a 1.2-litre motor, the oil burner will be a 1.5-litre motor.

Mahindra U215- Interestingly, the company is also working on an all-new SUV, which will be slotted between the S101 and U301. Codenamed U215, the SUV is expected to be the next generation Quanto SUV. This SUV will get an all-new design with more rugged looks.
