Maruti Suzuki launched the Baleno RS after a long wait yesterday and as revealed yesterday the Maruti Baleno RS is only going to be available in the Alpha trim. The single variant model will be feature loaded proposition for those looking to add some performance to their daily driving.

The prices of the Baleno RS in Delhi are 8.69 lakh (ex-showroom) making it the most expensive Baleno variant. The price of Baleno in Mumbai is 9.18 lakh while in Kolkata the Baleno RS will set one back by 9.04 lakh. The silicon valley of India, Bangalore will have to pay 8.96 lakh for the RS while those in Chennai pay 8.95 lakh (All prices ex-showroom)

The Baleno RS is a slightly different model from the standard Baleno. It comes with a redesigned front bumper finished in satin while the front chrome grille is made of a lot of chrome making it a premium product without a doubt. The side profile on other hand, shows sating finished silver side skirts, while the black 16 inch alloy wheels look extremely stylish. The rear end comes with a larger spoiler as compared to the standard Baleno while the bumper is redesigned as well. The addition of the RS badge on the bootlid emphasizes its sporty nature.

The interiors don’t see any change either but get the same all-black interior with aluminium accents and 7 inch touchscreen infotainment with Smartplay feature. The brakes are bigger in the RS as the front wheels get 14 inch disc brakes and the rear gets 13 inch ones.
