Maruti Suzuki’s premium hatchback the Baleno is all set to be launched in a performance avatar today in India. Christened as the Baleno RS, it will come with a number of cosmetic updates along with a significant mechanical update in the form of the introduction of a new 1.0-litre, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine. Coming to the interiors, the Maruti Baleno RS sports similar interiors as that of the regular hatchback. The all black interiors of the car sports silver accents around the centre console and AC vents. The Baleno RS gets black leather upholstery for seats while the car gets RS badges on the seats. The car comes with steering wheel mounted audio and telephone controls, MID display on the while the instrument cluster along with a touch-screen display on the centre console. The Maruti Baleno RS will get similar features as compared to the regular hatchback. Changes include all four disc brakes while the car might also get Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Other features include cruise control system, automatic climate control system, automatic headlamps, rear parking assist with rear camera, 7-inch SmartPlay touch-screen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rain sensing wipers and Bluetooth connectivity.
