Maruti Suzuki’s premium hatchback the Baleno is all set to be launched in a performance avatar today in India. Christened as the Baleno RS, it will come with a number of cosmetic updates along with a significant mechanical update in the form of the introduction of a new 1.0-litre, turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine. Coming to the interiors, the Maruti Baleno RS sports similar interiors as that of the regular hatchback. The all black interiors of the car sports silver accents around the centre console and AC vents. The Baleno RS gets black leather upholstery for seats while the car gets RS badges on the seats. The car comes with steering wheel mounted audio and telephone controls, MID display on the while the instrument cluster along with a touch-screen display on the centre console. The Maruti Baleno is available with a choice of petrol and diesel engine options while the Baleno RS is powered witha 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engine.
