
Apparently a company official from Suzuki Indomobil Sales confirmed the news to AutoBild Indonesia. According to the official the company will display the new Ertiga facelift at the 2015 GIIAS along with the Ciaz sedan and 27 other cars. According to reports Maruti Suzuki will import the new Ertiga to Indonesia via CKD (Completely Knocked Down) routes, so you can expect the facelifted MPV to be launched in India around August-September period.
Reports also indicate that on exterior front the new Ertiga will come with considerable cosmetic upgrades and some new feature additions. The 2015 facelift will be equipped with a brand new grille, a new front bumper and a stylish chrome appliqué for the rear registration plate enclosure. As for the interiors the new Ertiga facelift is likely to sports features like engine starter button, phone controls on the steering wheel, smart entry and electrically folding wing mirrors.
Mechanically the new Ertiga is likely to remain unchanged and will sport the same 1.4-liter K-Series petrol and 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engines under the hood. While the 1.4-liter K-Series petrol engine churns out 95 PS / I30 Nm, the diesel unit produces 90 PS / 200 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. While the power figures are expected to remain the same Maruti will be tuning the engine the generate more fuel efficiency, which currently stands at 16.02 kmpl and 20.77 kmpl respectively.
