Maruti Suzuki introduces the all-new Alto K10 Plus edition in India

In order to further increase the desirability quotient of its largest selling car, the Alto, it has now introduced a special ‘Plus’ edition of its K10 model in India. Available at an introductory price of INR 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the same is to come with a total of 10 new features on board in comparison to the standard model.

These 10 new features include, a rear-spoiler, reverse parking sensors, chrome garnish on fog-lamps, piano black finish on stereo, chrome highlight on wheel arches, central locking, body coloued door handle and ORVMs, side body moulding, chrome highlighted belt lining on windows and front power windows. The engine specifications of the Alto K10 are to remain exactly the same as before. The K10 Plus edition will continue to be powered by the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder unit producing 68Bhp along with 90Nm of peak torque. Also available in the CNG guise, the engine when run of the cleaner fuel produces 59bhp along with 78Nm of peak torque. The transmission responsibilities are to be handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox while there is also a 6-speed automatic on offer as well.

Currently, the prices for the Alto K10 fall in the bracket of INR 3.30 lakh to 4.16 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
