Maruti Suzuki India Pvt Ltd have today announced that the company has stopped importing its luxury sedan Kizashi into the Indian market. The sedan that was launched in the country just 18 months back is now being offered with a massive discount of Rs 5 lakh in order to clear the pending stocks. “Yes, it will come to India only when there are orders,” Mr Mayank Pareek, managing executive officer of sales & marketing.
The sedan that failed to graduate to the upper end of the luxury sedan segment was launched in India just 18 months back at Rs 16.5 lakh for the manual version and Rs 17.5 lakh for automatic version (ex-showroom, New Delhi.)
