Maruti Suzuki launches new special edition Wagon R

New special edition gets addition features including double-din audio system, parking sensors, leather seat covers and some more. 

Maruti Suzuki’s obsession with special edition models continues with the new Wagon R Madhavan Signature Edition. Although Maruti has released no official statement about this new model, the company is advertising it in the newspapers.

Called the Madhavan Signature Edition, this new special edition Wagon R gets (you guessed it) film star R. Madhavan’s signature on the sides and at the rear. Additionally, the car gets new body graphics, double-din audio system, leather seat covers, rear parking sensor with display, Bluetooth kit and a rear spoiler.

The Wagon R Madhavan Signature Edition is good value considering one needs to shell out just Rs 20,000 instead of Rs 32,000 which apparently is the total cost of the additional features. While Maruti Suzuki has not given any details on the pricing, the special edition model is likely to cost around Rs 20,000 more than the standard VXI version which comes in at Rs 4.39 lakh.
