Maruti Suzuki S-Cross Facelift 2017 will go on sale in the country today which is expected to fall in the price bracket of INR 8.5 lakh - INR 13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki India will roll out the all-new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross 2017 facelift in India today. Expected to be priced slightly higher than the current version, the facelifted S-Cross will receive exterior cosmetic updates and feature loaded cabin. The bookings have already commenced with token amount of INR 11,000. The updated version of Crossover comes powered by a 1.3-litre diesel engine with SHVS technology. Moreover, the company has discontinued the 1.6-litre engine from the line-up. On the exterior front, the new Maruti Suzuki S-Cross facelift gets bold, tall and masculine design which is complemented by LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, LED tail lamps and more. The overall appeal of the crossover is accentuated by exterior tone which includes 4 exciting colours and 1 all-new shade – NEXA blue, Caffeine Brown, Granite Grey, Premium Silver and Pearl Arctic White. Moreover, the new S-Cross also comes equipped with NEXA safety shield which comprises of Suzuki TECT body, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, pedestrian protection compliance, side impact compliance, offset impact compliance, ISOFIX child seats and more. As far as the engine specifications are concerned, the all-new S-Cross will be powered by a DDiS 200 diesel engine which can develop 89 BHP of max power @ 4000 rpm with peak torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm which comes with Smart Hybrid Vehicle System technology. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox that transmits power to the front wheels. Likely to be priced a notch higher as compared to the current model, the new S-Cross will compete against Hyundai Creta, Fiat Avventura and others.
