Maruti Suzuki sells 1 lakh units of Alto 800 in just 4 months

Launched in October last year, the Alto 800 continues to sell in huge numbers. 

Some would say that the last few months have been really rough in terms of car sales, but the good chaps over at Maruti Suzuki would like to believe otherwise. That’s because the company has managed to sell over 1 lakh units of its relatively new small car, the Alto 800, within just four months of its launch.

Launched in October last year, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 has been a strong product since the time it was announced. And with such record sales, it’s clear that the successor to the Alto has effortlessly carried forward the legacy of the brand that has been the undisputed king of the small car segment.

While the competition remains stiff in the small car segment with cars like the Hyundai Eon becoming a serious threat, the Alto 800 has been successful in maintaining its dominance in the small car space.
