The cmopany has now confirmed to officially accepting bookings for the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 from today at an amount of INR 11,000. As we told you yesterday, the new Swift will be launched on February 8th at the Auto Expo 2018 in Delhi-NCR. The all-new Maruti Swift is wider, has longer wheel base and compact at the same time. Furthermore, the company has also confirmed that the new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 will be launched at the Auto Expo 2018. Mr R.S. Under the hood, the new Maruti Swift will continue to come powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol unit will develop 84 BHP of power and 114 Nm of torque, while the 1.3-litre diesel unit will produce 74 BHP of power and 190 Nm of peak torque. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018 will be positioned between the Maruti Baleno and the Ignis compact crossover. The car will be underpinned by the rigid and lightweight HEARTECT platform, which also underpins the new Maruti DZire, Baleno, Vitara Brezza and Ignis. Suzuki has made use of aluminium and reinforced steel in the construction of this platform. Similar to the existing model, the new Swift will continue with an all-black interior theme. Features on offer will be the new flat-bottom steering wheel, TFT MID unit, touch-screen infotainment system, all-black fabric upholstery, engine start-stop button, Support for Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink and Android Auto and reverse parking camera among others.
