Mercedes-AMG GT R Becomes the Fastest Production Car; Sets Record Breaking Lap Time at Buddh International Circuit

Mercedes AMG GT R has clocked the fastest lap time of 02:09:853 at Buddh International Circuit becoming the first production car to accomplish this record.

Mercedes-AMG GT R is all set to make its debut in the domestic market on August 21, 2017. Ahead of its India launch, the Beast of the Green Hell became the fastest production car to register a record breaking lap time of 02:09:853 on the Buddh International Circuit (BIC). Previously, the fastest lap time of 2:14.521 was clocked by Mercedes SLS AMG in the year 2013. Christian Hohenadel, a successful AMG Driver drove this sports car to accomplish the fastest lap timing by any production car on the circuit.
