Mercedes Benz India announces price hike by up to 10 per cent
Revised prices will be effective from January 1, 2014.

As the Indian economy continues to suffer under crisis, increase in fuel costs and car prices are inevitable. With premium carmakers including BMW and Audi already looking to hike prices starting January next year, Mercedes, too, has decided to join the fray by announcing a price hike across its model range.
The German brand has announced that it will hike prices of all its models by up to 10 per cent from January 2014.
Commenting on the planned price hike, Mercedes Benz India Managing Director & CEO Eberhard Kern said: “Mercedes-Benz stands out for its iconic luxury offerings and continues to be admired for its complete luxury product experience. A fantastic year of offensive focus has helped us achieve tremendous success in India despite challenging market conditions and we will continue to build on our success by further enhancing our after-sales programmes, dealer network and customer support. As market dynamics continue to evolve we are committed to offer the best luxury experience and delight our valued customers.”
