Mercedes Benz S65 AMG could be revealed at LA Auto Show

Mercedes will also unveil the S600 at the LA Auto Show in November. 

The word is out that the 2014 Mercedes Benz S65 AMG – the brand’s upcoming flagship V12 sedan, will make its debut a bit earlier than expected. According to Automobile Magazine, the high-performance S65 AMG is expected to bow in at this year’s LA Auto show in November.

Having introduced the S63 AMG and foreseeing that more is always better, Mercedes will add an even more powerful version in the form of the S65 AMG which is said to go on sale next year.

While the S63 AMG gets a 5.5-litre bi-turbo V8 engine producing 585PS of power and 900Nm of torque, the S65 AMG is expected to source its power from a monstrous V12 engine. Power output should be close to 630PS and 1,000Nm. The report says that Mercedes will also unveil the S600 at the motor show will sue a detuned versions of the same V12 engine which will power the S65 AMG.
