Here are some of the major feature highlights of the 2015 Volkswagen Vento facelift:
Exterior design is what the new Vento stands on and it is very well seen from the re-profiled bonnet and redesigned front fascia. The Passat-like grille and the new muscular bumper adds an aggressive feel to it, while the new horizontal fog lamps with integrated cornering lights adds the style cue.
Some new exterior additions include Electrically folding ORVMs with integrated LED turn indicators, New tail lamps with revised internals and new sporty alloy wheels.
Similar styling is carried over to the inside where you can find a new interior colour theme ‘Walnut desert beige’ in the Highline and ‘Cloud –Titanschwarz’ in Trendline and Comfortline variants. Whereas on feature front we are likely to see Cruise Control, Cooled glove box and the addition of a Dead pedal.
Volkswagen will be offering the Vento in two petrol and one diesel engine options – a 1.6-litre petrol motor and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine giving a power output of 105.4 PS and 104.6 PS respectively. As for the diesel variant, we have the 1.5-litre TDI diesel that is good for 104.6 PS. A five-speed manual transmission comes as standard, while a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox is offered on a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol equipped variant.
